The 50th Force Support Squadron will sponsor its seventh annual Spring Fling and “Egg Scramble” Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. April 11 at the Main Fitness Center.
Rather than have all the children run and gather as many eggs as possible, children attending this year’s Spring Fling Egg Scramble will search for a special egg all his or her own.
During the designated time for each child’s age group, he or she will check in at the “Egg Search” table and pick up a special egg search card that shows what his or her special egg looks like. The child will then search only for the egg shown on the card.
Once the child finds one of the special eggs, he or she will bring the egg and the card to the Egg Search prize table to exchange for a goody bag filled with toys.
Egg Search category times are:
Infants-3 years: 11 a.m. to noon
4-7 years: 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
8-11 years: 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In addition to the Egg Scramble, there will be carnival-style games, prize drawings, a petting zoo, Chuck wagon barbecue lunch, professional face painting and a balloon artist.
“Hairy” the bunny will also be available to visit and take photos with children. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras.
