Space shuttle Discovery launches on last mission

Space shuttle Discovery lifts off on its final scheduled NASA mission from Launch Pad 39A at 4:53 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011. The U.S. Air Force’s 45th Space Wing provided flawless Eastern Range support for the mission, which features one of the last Air Force shuttle crews.
